Our major leprosy and disability related training courses are funded by German Leprosy and TB Relief Association (GLRA), Germany. Irish AID provided a one-off grant over 3.5 years for HIV AIDS training in Kaski district which expired in 2005. We do not have any other funding source for HIV/AIDS and TB training activities. The cost of HIV/AIDS training courses we run for BHS and NGO staff are covered from the local income we gain from the course fee and training facilities/service charge. External auditing of the accounts is done by independent registered auditor each year.

Since BIKASH has the capacity from the view of technical expertise, human resources and organisational management, we are looking forward to funds for the additional training and awareness raising activities. We take this as the opportunity for existence and the challenge for the sustainability of the organisation.
